The first of the cards will see WBO Light Flyweight world chapion Kosei Tanaka (8-0, 5) [田中恒成] defending his title against Puerto Rican challenger Angel Acosta (16-0, 16). The bout will be shown on CBC and TBS in Japan, starting at 16:00 local time on Saturday. Unlike all the other fights however this main event also has a special online stream for free, allowing fans outside of Japan to watch the bout without the need to hunt an illegal stream. Later on the same day we see the first part of Fuji TV's Boxing FES 2017. This show begins at 19:00 local time on Fuji TV, and selected affiliates. The headline bout of the card will see Ryota Murata (12-0, 9) [村田 諒太] battle against Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (35-2, 21) for the WBA Middleweight title bout. The show will also feature a WBC Flyweight title bout between Juan Hernandez Navarrete (34-2, 25) and Daigo Higa (12-0, 12) [比嘉 大吾] as well as a WBC Light Flyweight title bout between Ganigan Lopez (28-6, 17) and Japanese hopeful Ken Shiro (9-0, 5) [拳 四朗].
At the moment it's unclear if the above show will be shown in full, but there has been at least 2 hours set side for the card, and it's possible that the show will be extended if Fuji need to extend it.
On Sunday we get the second part of the Fuji TV Boxing FES 2017. This card will also begin at 19:00 local time, and will also be a brilliant card. The headline bout here will see Naoya Inoue (12-0, 10) [井上 尚弥] defending his WBO Super Flyweight title against Ricardo Rodriguez (16-3, 5) with the supporting bout being anIBF Light Flyweight unification bout between regular champion Akira Yaegashi (25-5, 13) [八重樫 東] and interim champion Milan Melindo (35-2, 12).
