Earlier today the Cebu Daily News reported the expected match ups from the ALA show "Pinoy Pride XXII".
The show held at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel & Casino is to take place on October 26th and feature two major bouts.
In the headline bout the unbeaten Genesis Servania (22-0, 8) faces former world title challenger Rafael Concepcion (18-6-1, 8). Filipino fans may remember Concepcion giving Nonito Donaire a hard time a few years back and we'd expect him to give Servania an equally tough contest.
In the co-main event the very promising Arthur Villanueva (23-0, 13) defends his unbeaten record and like Servania he is also facing a former world title challenger as he battles Mexican Jose Cabrera (22-3-2, 10). Cabrera, who fought Omar Andres Narvaez last year for the WBO Super Flyweight title should prove to be a good test for Villanueva.
The chief undercard bout sees former OPBF champion Roli Gasca (20-4-1, 5) taking on Indonesian Lande Olin (11-4, 7). Olin, who was stopped last time out in the Philippines by Diarh Gabutan will be fighting for the first time in just over a year.
The rest of the details on the undercard have mentioned that Mark Vincent Bernaldez (11-0, 7) will face Khunkhiri Wor Wisaruth (10-5-1, 5) and the very promising Jessel Mark Magsayo (3-0, 2) will face fellow Filipino Hagibis Quinones (3-10-1, 2). Saying all that however Khunkhiri Wor Wisaruth is also thought to be on a card, the following week, in Korea.
