Earlier today we were informed of an Elorde International Productions show which will take place on May 4th at the SM Mall of Asia, in Manila.
The main event will see once beaten Filipino Jeffrey Francisco (13-1-1, 1) battle against Japanese ranked Yusuke Suzuki (6-2, 4) [鈴木 悠介] for the WBC Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council Bantamweight title. For Francisco this will be his 4th bout since suffering a decision loss to Jestoni Autida, in November 2014 and it will also be his first title bout. For Suzuki it will be his first bout since a razor thin loss to Ryoichi Tamura last July. As with Francisco this will be his first title bout, however he has mixed with some good fighters, not just Tamura but also Yusaku Kuga and Monico Laurente.
The chief support bout is another interesting looking match up and will see Joe Misako (10-0-1, 3), also known as Joe Noynay, face Richard Pumicpic (17-7-2, 6) in a bout for the WBC International title. This will be Pumicpic's third bout siunce he was out pointed by Hikaru Matsuoka, in November 2014, whilst Misako will be fighting for the first time since drawing with Alie Laurel, in February.
