That card was headlined by unbeaten prospect Takuya Uehara (13-0, 8) [上原 拓哉], who extended his perfect unbeaten record record with a 2nd round blow out against a limited Thai foe, who showed little in terms of resistence.
Early in the first round the unbeaten did a short scouting misison, looking at what theThi had to offer. It was clear very early on that there was little for Uehara to worry about and a right uppercutt sent the Thai down for the count.
With this win Uehara notches his second stoppage of 2017 and with Japanese and OPBF rankings to his name it's clear that he won't be waiting too long for a title fight, with one potentially heading his was in 2018. As for the Thai there is likely to be a Japanese suspension for his lack of skills and poor effort.
