Srisaket Sor Rungvisai to fight in a stay busy bout on August 18th, Jirapan and Sirimongkol also in action
Earlier this week Thai promotional outfit Nakornloung announced their next show. One it we will see two of their most notable fighters, one fighting a stay busy fight before an eventual world title contest and one in WBC Youth action, as well as the Nakornloung debut of a former 2-weight world champion
The more notable of the fighters on the show is the always fun to watch Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (35-4-1, 32) who will be fighting in a bout to keep ticking over before a bout with Carlos Cuadras, hopefully later this year. The Thai destroyer, one of the meanest Super Flyweights on the planet, will be fighting against Indonesian journeyman Domi Nenokeba (12-15-1, 8), who recently ended a 25 fight losing streak.
The WBC Youth title fight will see Featherweight Silver champion Jirapan Nakornluang (13-0, 10) defending his belt against the naturally much smaller Junior Bajawa (14-6, 7), in what should be little more than a nasty mismatch in favour of the unbeaten Thai hopeful.
A third bout on this card will feature former Bantamweight and Super Featherweight world champion Sirimongkol Singwancha (84-2, 54), who will be fighting for the first time since the collapse of his proposed match up with Demetrius Andrade, who was later stripped of the WBO Light Middleweight title. At the moment we're unsure of his opponent.
