Last week we reported that former Super Flyweight great Khaosai Galaxy was in hospital following complaints of pain and the discovery of gall stones. He subsequently had surgery to remove the stones and the surgery has been a success, however he has been told to stay in hospital for 7-10 days following the surgery.
Unfortunately for Khaosai his hospital stay has coincided with his 56th birthday, which occurred this past week.
Despite being in hospital he was recently joined by some close friends, including fellow boxing and Muay Thai legend Samart Payakaroon, who managed to post some pictures of Khaosai from hospital. In the pictures Khaosai looks to be well and in good spirits despite being stuck in hospital for a little bit longer.
From what we understand Khaosai is in good spirits and is on the mend with his release unlikely to be too far away. Thankfully it appears that there wasn't anything too serious wrong with the former great and it's not expected that there will be any delays from his scheduled release
