Last night the two fighters weighed in for their bout and both came in well under the 112lb divisional limit.
Shiming, the taller man who has already beaten Kwanpichit during their porfessional careers, was 111lbs on the scales, a weight that matches his lowest weight which was made more than 3 years ago on his professional debut against Eleazar Valenzuela. Kwanpichit on the other hand came in a little over 111¼lbs, giving him a slight weight advantage.
Interestingly when these two men first fought, in Macau back in 2014, both were 112lbs for the bout, showing perhaps they took training more seriously this time around with the world title up for grabs.
Zou Shiming and Kwanpichit OnesongChaigym do it again, for WBO title!
Shiming close to unbackable against Kwanpichit.
Kwanpichit is also known as Prasitsak Phaprom.
