One of those is a Japanese Bantamweight title fight, that will see reigning champion Kentaro Masuda (25-7, 13) [益田 健太郎] take on Satoshi Ozawa (13-6-1, 2) [小澤サトシ], in what will be Masuda's second defense of his current reign. Coming in to this Masuda is unbeaten in his last 4 bouts, following an April 2015 loss to Shohei Omori that ended his first reign. During that run Masuda has beaten Hideo Sakamoto, Yushi Tanaka and Yu Kawaguchi, securing a second career win over Kawaguchi. Ozawa also comes into this bout on a 4 fight run but this will be a major step up for the challenger, who will be going into his first title bout. Although Ozawa is on a winning run his compeition has been power and his best wins have been razor thing decision over Yoshihiko Matsuo.
The other title bout will see Ken Shiro (8-0, 4) [拳 四朗] defending his OPBF Light Flyweight title against Filipino opponent Lester Abutan (11-5-3, 5), in what will be the Japanese fighter's first defense of the title. Ken Shiro, who has recently vacated the WBC Youth title, unified the OPBF and JBC titles earlier this year and will be hoping to extend his unbeaten run and move towards a world title fight in 2017. For Abutan the bout is a chance to claim a third title, having previously held the LuzProBa Minimumweight and GAB Light Flyweight titles, though he has fallen short in 3 other title bouts.
As with all Diamond Glove shows this will be aired on Fuji TV, though TV specifics weren't made clear earlier today unfortunately
