Ohashi show for December 30th becomes a total super show as Jorge Linares and Ryota Murata are added to it!
Ohashi Gym's originally announced 30th December show sounded great when it was first announced as the battle of brothers between the Inoue brothers and the Narvaez brothers. That announcement, which came less than a week ago, now looks like a distant memory as the card has seen 3 other major bouts added to it.
The original main event between Naoya Inoue (7-0, 6) and Omar Andres Narvaez (43-1-2, 23), as announced along side a contest between Takuma Inoue (3-0, 1) and Nestor Daniel Narvaes (20-2-2, 9), still appears to be the main event but with yesterday's announcement that Akira Yaegashi (20-4,10) would be fighting Pedro Guervara (23-1-1, 15) made for a second great bout.
Today we've seen another world title added to the show as Jorge Linares (37-3, 24) has seen his WBC Lightweight title fight with Javier Prieto (24-7-2, 18), a bout we mentioned had been ordered yesterday added to the card alongside a Middleweight clash between Ryota Murata (7-0, 6) and Jessie Nicklow (24-4-3, 8).
The show has gone from a family affair between the the Inoue brothers and the Narvaez brothers and become a bonafide super show and a really exciting way to end the year, and that's beign said as we still await the announcement of Ryo Matsumoto's (12-0, 10) opponent for the show.
