A story coming out of Japan earlier today suggests that the unbeaten model-come-boxer Tomomi Takano (4-0, 3), pictured, wants to fight for an OPBF title by the end of the year.
The unbeaten and strikingly good looking Tomomi is set to fight in her fifth contest in around 4 weeks and is also going to be taking part in the up coming "Tokyo Girls Collection" (TGC) though her plans seem to be much more long term than just the hear and now.
The fighter, currently developing her skills in the Kyoei gym, seems to want to prove herself on the world stage somewhere down the line though she seems to accept that it's too soon to be thinking of a world title fight. Instead Kyoei seem to be thinking about getting her prepared for an OPBF title bout by the end of the year.
Unfortunately for Tomomi she would likely need to hope that current OPBF Super Flyweight champion Tomoko Kawanishi, either drops the title to challenge for a world championship or is dethroned before the end of the year.
Interestingly Kawanishi does defend her OPBF Super Flyweight title against Jubjang Lookmakarmwan less than a week after Tomomi's next contest, giving Tomomi a chance to see her possible opponent in action.
