Akira Yaegashi Vs Roman Gonzalez and Naoya Inoue Vs Samartlek Kokietgym will be shown on free to air TV!
In the least surprising bit of news ever it was confirmed yesterday that the world title double header announced for September 5th will be on free to air TV in Japan!
We've seen various people asking on forums whether or not they'd be able to watch the WBC Flyweight title fight between Akira Yaegashi (20-3, 10) and Roman Gonzalez (39-0, 33) or Naoya Inoue's (6-0, 5) WBC Light Flyweight title defence against Samartlek Kokietgym (16-4, 5). We're glad to inform them, and all of our readers, that both bouts will be shown on Fui TV, a Japanese terrestrial channel which have an exclusive to show all of Inoue's fights.
For those wondering what this really means, it means that not only will Japanese fight fans be able to see the fights but so will everyone else as Fuji TV is incredibly easy to stream via one method or another, including the temperamental but completely legal KeyHole TV.
At the moment the show isn't listed on Fuji TV but Ohashi Gym founder Hideyuki Ohashi has announced that Fuji TV is backing the show which should be all the proof needed for everyone to be even more excited about this event!
