Over the past few days we've seen pictures emerge of the fighters involved in this week's biggest mid-week clash.
The fighters in questions are Thailand's unbeaten Wanheng Menayothin (35-0, 11) and Mexico's Oswaldo Novoa (14-4-1, 9), the fighters involved in this weeks WBC Minimumweight title fight.
Novoa, who has traveled to Thailand for this bout, will be defending his title for the second time and looked very confident in the pictures we've seen. The champion, who won the title earlier this year in China when he blasted away Xiong Zhao Zhong, was not only looking confident but also appeared to be the bigger man stood an inch or two above the Thai.
As for Wanheng, the mandatory challenger, he too looked confident though did look slightly smaller than his visiting foe. For the Thai this will be his first world title bout and sees him progressing from WBC international title bouts to a world title bout.
Although both men know this is a major bout both seemed relatively friendly in some of the pictures we've seen. It seems that both have a competitive respect for each other, something that should help the bout live up to the high expectations we have for it.
