The show, set to start at 8AM Macao time, is expected to do massive numbers in terms of PPV and is also expected by some to be a late contender for "Event of the Year" and "Fight of the Year" thanks to the style of the two men in the main event.
Of course whenever you have Manny Pacquiao in action the world takes note. This time however things are different. Pacquiao isn't just fighting for the win, but is actually fighting for his career after suffering a chilling KO loss to Juan Manuel Marquez last December. Unfortunately for Pacquiao he's up against a man also looking to put a loss behind him in Brandon Rios an American warrior who is all too happy to take one to land one.
From a Top Rank release we believe the full running scheduled of the show will be:
IK Yang (12-0-0-1, 8) v Hero Tito (7-2, 3)
Kuok Kun Ng (1-0, 1) v You-Jie Zeng (4-4, 4)
Rex Tso (7-0-0-2, 4) v Susu Sithjadeang (7-3, 2)
Harmonito Dela Torre (10-0, 5) v Jason Butar Butar (15-11, 11)
Felix Verdejo (8-0, 6) v Petchsamuthr Duanaaymukdahan (8-1, 1)
Zou Shiming (2-0) v Juan Toscano (4-0, 1)
Andy Ruiz Jr (20-0, 14) v Tor Hamer (21-2, 14)-WBO Inter-Continental Heavyweight title and NABF Heavyweight title fight
Evgeny Gradovich (17-0, 8) v Billy Dib (36-2, 21)-IBF Featherweight title fight
Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38) v Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 22)-WBO international Welterweight title fight
Liam Vaughan (8-1, 2) v Dan Nazareno Jr (17-10, 13)
We're unsure how much flexibility there is here, but we assume that running order is set in stone.
We hope to bring more news about this show before Friday night as we assume it'll be something a bit special.
