Just a few hours ago Teiru Kinoshita (19-0-1, 3) and Zolani Tete (18-3, 16) had their "same day weigh in" to comply with the rules of the IBF who have their Super Flyweight title up for grabs.
The IBF rule states that fighters must stay with in 10lbs of the divisional limit the morning of the fighter. For this particular fight at Super Flyweight that means the men had to be less than 115lbs yesterday and less than 125lbs today. Unsurprisingly both men managed to do that, and rather comfortably with Kinoshita around a lb under the maximum allowed weight and Tete around 1.5lbs under the limit.
With all the formalities now sorted the men will be trying to relax before their fight which is set to take place later today at the gorgeous Portopia hotel in Kobe. It's a huge fight for both men and one that will have the entire Super Flyweight division interested in knowing the outcome, which hopefully we can bring you soon!
