Earlier today we were informed that Teerachai Kratingdaenggym (34-0, 25) [ถิรชัย กระทิงแดงยิม], who now goes by his birth name of Tewa Kiram on boxrec.com, would be back in action on July 8th as he takes on Japanese based Dominican Vladimir Baez (21-2-2, 19), aka Destino Japan, who will be fighting in Thailand for his second successive bout.
The unbeaten, and world ranked Thai, will be looking to continue his long reign as the PABA Welterweight Super Champion whilst continuing to pile up wins in the hope of getting a potential world tile fight in the near future. Given his home advantage, unbeaten record, natural size and more proven opposition he will be favoured coming into this bout, and potentially scoring win #35.
For Baez the bout will see him moving up to Welterweight to challenger for the PABA "Super" title and will see him face his "third name" opponent, having previously lost to Victor Manuel and Jason Pagara the only men to have beaten him so far.
