At the moment Mr Honda and their team at Teiken are keeping the full details of the contest under wraps but from what we understand the bout will take pace in Japan in August, and will feature a stacked card with a number of notable Japanese fighters on the under-card, which is likely to be shown live on G+.

Currently Yamanaka, along with Teiken stablemates Jorge Linares and Takashi Miura, are taking part in a training camp and a date and venue will be announced for Yamanaka following the camp, which has been a regular part of Yamanaka's training in recent years.
The bout with Nery will be Yamanaka's 13th world title defense anda win for "God's Left" will see the Southpaw Banamweight tie the record for most defenses of a world title by a Japanese title, tying a long standing record of Yoko Gushiken, and tying the 14 fight world title figh winning record shared by Gushiken and current WBA Flyweight champion Kazuto Ioka.
