The bout had essentially been confirmed for the show by Ancjas' promoters as well as Top Rank, but it's not been until today the Kinoshita's side stated anything.
At the press conference Kinoshita was joined by his promoter and his trainer, who have both backed their man strongly here, for what will be his second world title fight. In his previous effort at world level he was widely out pointed by Zolani Tete but he has worked hard since then and it seems like his team believe he has a good chance against the under-rated Filipino.
Although talented Kinoshita will be a huge under-dog against Ancajas, and this is a big step back up in class for the Japanese fighter, who saw a bout with McJoe Arroyo fall through earlier this year in what was supposed to be an eliminator before Arroyo pulled out at late notice.
