We are now just 10 days away from the rematch between Ryota Murata (12-1, 9) [村田 諒太] and WBA Middleweight champion Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (36-2, 21). As we begin to move closer and closer to the bout we've seen Murata pick up his training, and today he took part in another training session.
At today's session Murata seemed confident, and looked like he was really hitting his stride with his right hand looking thunderous and his jab looking consistent.
The training session saw Murata spar 2 rounds with Mexican Adrian Luna Flores (20-5-1, 13) as well as work the speed ball, and the Japanese fighter really did look a million miles removed from the fighter who had struggled through a sluggish session just a week or so ago.
It was also revealed today that Bob Arum would be in Japan for the bout, and would be there to support Murata, who is a Top Rank fighter.
