The Mexican spent the session skipping rope, shadow boxing and hitting a heavybag whilst working up a very good sweat.
The session was watched by Yaegashi's promoter Hideyuki Ohashi who seemed impressed by Tecuapetla's stamina. It's that stamina, and his aggressive style, that is likely to make Sunday's bout with Yaegashgi something special and the Mexican seemed to suggest that he was looking forward to a war with the popular Japanese fighter.
Although Carmona didn't spar today he did say he had done around 120 rounds of sparring to prepare for Yaegashi. He described his style as aggressive, which was obvious for those who had seen him in action, and that he loves to be in a slugfest, something everyone seems to be expecting when he faces Yaegashi.
With his style, and that of Yaegashi, it seems almost certain that Yaegashi's face will show it's now trademark swelling. Interestingly Yaegashi's team seem to be planning to use salt to reduce the swelling, something that was brought up at this training session.
