On Friday Teiken announced that former WBC Flyweight champion Toshiyuki Igarashi (21-2-1, 11) would be making his ring return on November 24th as part of an upcoming "Dynamic Glove" show.
Originally it had been announced that Igarashi would actually be in action on the upcoming "WOWOW" card, scheduled for November 28th, however due to that show having other bouts quickly signed for it Igarashi was taken from it and a new date was set for him.
At the moment no opponent has been announced but we're expecting it to be a low key bout at 115lbs, possibly against another Asian fighter, as Igarashi keeps ticking over whilst awaiting a Super Flyweight world title bout, possibly in early to mid 2016.
Interestingly we have also been informed that former OPBF and JBC Bantamweight champion Ryosuke Iwasa (19-2, 12) will also be on the show, in what will be his first bout since losing in England to Lee Haskins. As with Igarashi, Iwasa was supposed to be on the "WOWOW" card and has yet to have his opponent named. Given his loss last time out he'll be expected to face a confidence builder with a potential step up again next year, possibly against an OPBF level fighter,
