Tomorrow fight fans will see OPBF Light Middleweight champion Takayuki Hosokawa (28-10-5, 9) [細川 貴之] battle against Yutaka Oishi (13-5, 7) [大石 豊] as Hosokawa hunts his second defense of the title and Oishi looks to claim his first title.
Today the two men weighed in, with both making the 154lb limit for the bout.
On the scales the shorter, more experienced, Hosokawa was just under the limit and looked a little bit fleshy for the bout. Although fleshy he was comfortable looking and certainly seemed confident of record his second defense and utting on a good performance following a very poor outing last time out.
The much taller Oishi, who looked much better at the weight than the champion, was well under the limit at just below 153¾lbs, but naturally he seemed a much bigger fighter than Hosokawa who actually very under-sized for the weight.
For fans wanting to watch this bout it will be added to the Boxingraise website on demand service after the fight has taken place.
