Earlier today we were informed that former WBO interim Lightweight title challenger Jimrex Jaca (39-7-4, 22) will be back in the ring on March 16th as he sets foot in the Japanese holy land of boxing, the Korakuen Hall. Jaca, an exciting and hard hitting Filipino fighter will be hoping it's 5th time lucky at "The Hall" where he is currently 0-3-1, including a 7th round defeat to Shinya Iwabuchi last February. Since the loss to Iwabuchi we've seen Jaca in the ring once, fighting to a technical draw with Masayoshi Kotake,
This time around Jaca will be fighting against former Japanese Lightweight champion Akihiro Kondo (20-5-1, 9) and the bout will certainly be a major crossroads bout with both desperately needing a win. As mentioned Jaca has gone 0-1-1 in his last two bouts with Kondo is 1-2 in his last 3 with losses to nemesis Nihito Arakawa as well as the unheralded Tomoya Yamada.
At the moment no other bouts for this card have been announced though this main even does look really interesting and there is a chance we could see Kondo's stablemate, and former world title challenger, Oscar Blanquet (32-9-1, 23) also featuring on the card following his relocation to Japan.
