Details regarding the television broadcast for the Ioka Vs Reveco and Takayama Vs Sakkreerin double header!
We know that a number of western fans have been in touch regarding the television coverage of Wednesday's fights from Japan. Thankfully for those who haven't managed to find the time or channel of the double world title show we're going to make things simple.
The telecast will begin at 19:59 Tokyo time on terrestrial channel TBS. The broadcast is scheduled to last a little under 2 hours, ending at 21:56.
At the moment we're unsure which bout will be aired first and which will be aired seconds though we are aware that both the IBF Minimumweight title bout, between defending champion Katsunari Takayama (28-7-0-1, 11) and Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr (27-3-1, 15), and the WBA Flyweight title bout, between defending champion Juan Carlos Reveco (35-1, 19) and Japanese challenger Kazuto Ioka (16-1, 10), will be aired.
Also we're afraid to say that the broadcast may not be live. The show begins in the venue at 16:20 and although it features several under-card bouts they do, for the most part, look like they could be over and done with rather quickly. This may mean that the result is online before the fights are aired, so be cautious in regards to ruining your own entertainment.
Whilst it's not a foregone conclusion there may also be a chance at highlights from the card being shown if the main events finish early. Fingers crossed there folks!
