On the scales today both men made weight and both looked comfortable at the the 108lb limit.
From what we understand the champion was the slightly lighter man, coming in at slightly under 107.5lbs whilst Kakutani was closer to 107.75lbs. For Ken Shiro the weight is around the same as his last two bouts whilst Kakutani is his lightest since he fought the then WBC champion Adrian Hernandez back in 2013.
