In late June we saw Thailand's Knockout CP Freshmart (13-0, 6) [น็อคเอาท์ ซีพีเฟรชมาร์ท] over-come Nicaraguan Byron Rojas (17-2-3, 8) in what was a genuinely dreadful fight. That win for Knockout saw him become the WBA's only champion at 105lbs.
This past week, following that fight with Rojas, there was a huge event held to celebrate Knockout's win win dancers, elephants and various other things to recognise the fighters achievements.
Since turning professional as an international boxer in 2012 we've seen every Knockout become a notable fighter known for both his memorable name, which has garnered a lot of attention for him, and his wins, which included winning a youth title on debut, and winning the WBA "interim" title in just his 9th professional bout.
