Miyao, the long reigning WBA Atomweight champion, is expected to be the headline fighter on the Ohashi Gym promoted show though sadly won't be defending her title. Instead the exciting 30 year old will be in a non-title fight with Thailand's young Yokfah Mor Krungthepthonburi (0-6).
Whilst on paper this is a mismatch we're unsure on whether or not Yokfah's record is actually "right". From what we understand she is win-less though has mixed with a very high level of opposition including the likes of Kayoko Ebata, Dan Bi Kim and Masae Akitaya, who incidentally beat the Thai this past June.
With this bout being a non-title fight we're expecting to see the talented but diminutive Miyao testing her body at 105lbs with a possible move up in a weight to follow. This is pure speculation on our side but it's certainly a plausible reasoning for the non-title conditions for the fight.
