Earlier today saw the official weigh in for tomorrows enticing card at the Korakuen Hall. Thankfully all the fighters on the show made the contracted weight including the men involved in the more notable bouts.
These bouts include include a brilliant contest between former champions as former OPBF Super Flyweight champion Ryo Akaho (23-1-2, 16) battles former Japanese Super Bantamweight champion Masaaki Serie (25-6, 10). This bout, made at 118lbs, saw Akaho coming in bang on the limit whilst Serie was surprisingly low at 117.5lbs, his lowest in 8 years!
The other major bout, between former world title challenger Daiki Kaneko (20-3-3, 13) and Cirilo Espino (19-13-3, 12) saw both men coming in under the 130lb limit. Kaneko weighed in at 129.75lbs whilst Espino was significantly lighter at 128.25lbs.
