We've known for a while that August 20th Ohashi gym card, headlined by Japanese Featherweight champion Satoshi Hosono, would feature a number of top Ohashi fighters. One of which was former OPBF and Japanese Minimumweight champion Ryuji Hara (19-1, 11). Up until now however there had been next to no news about who Hara would be facing whilst stable mates Akira Yaegashi and Ryo Matsumoto had both had their opponents announced a while back.
Today however we were informed that Hara's opponent has been revealed, albeit quietly.
The man Hara is now set to face is little known Indonesian fighter Said M Said (2-2, 1).
We've got to admit we know very little about Said, though we do suspect his boxrec record is incomplete as is the case with many Indonesian fighters. What we do know is that he's twice loss to limited domestic rival Ichal Tobida and really should serve as little more than target practice for Hara, who is fighting for the second time since his 2014 stoppage defeat to Kosei Tanaka.
If, as we suspect, the Hara Vs Said bout is confirmed, then the bout would be the most disappointing on the card with Matsumoto's bout against world ranked Mexican Luis May being, by far, the most interesting.
