On December 31st we're in for a treat with a year ending show from Macau, with a mouth watering main event between Kazuto Ioka (23-1, 13) [井岡一翔] and Donnie Nietes (41-1-5, 23), who will be fighting for the vacant WBO Super Flyweight title.
After several people have asked we've decided to compile the TV details for the show.
Firstly the boxing will begin to be televised at 5PM Tokyo time, with TBS airing the bout between WBA Light Flyweight "Super" champion Hekkie Budler (32-3, 10) and Hiroto Kyoguchi (11-0, 8) [京口 紘人]. This bout will be televised live as part of it's own broadcast. For UK readers this is 8AM
At 6PM Tokyo time TBS will begin to air a special event that combines the Ioka Vs Neites fight with a special edition of Sasuke, a show that is known internationally as "Ninja Warrior". The fight will be shown live during the broadcast, though the timing specifics don't seem to be hard set due to the fact there is live action between Kyoguchi's bout and Ioka's
For those in the Philippines the Nietes Vs Ioka bout will be shown on ABS-CBN S+A channel 23, at 9PM, which is 10PM in Tokyo, though it's unclear at the moment whether the bout will be shown immediately or a studio segment and video packages will fill time.
Sadly the IBF Flyweight title bout, between defending champion Moruti Mthalane (36-2, 24) and Japan's Masahiro Sakamoto (13-1, 9) [坂本真宏] isn't set to be shown on either the Filipino or Japanese broadcast, though is pencilled in for a tape delaying showing in Japan. This has been reported as being January 23rd, though has yet to be confirmed.
The main event, between Ioka and Neites, is also scheduled to be shown on http://live.qq.com, beginning at 17:10 in China though it's unclear what this broadcast will include.
Sadly we can't localise all times, though Japanese time is 9 hours ahead of the UK, meaning the Kyoguchi bout will be at 8AM in the UK and the Sasuke/Ioka Vs Nietes broadcast will begin at 9AM.
