One of the many Japanese shows that were affected by the JBC's suspension of boxing was Kadobi's "SLUGFEST 14" show, which was originally set for March 26th at Korakuen Hall.
Over the weekend the released the show was now pencilled in for May 19th.
At the moment it's not totally clear what match ups will have changed from the originally announced card, though it does seem like some have.
For those who have forgotten the original card had a string of very good looking match ups, including Hiroki Okada(19-2, 13) [岡田 博喜] making his Japanese ring return to face Korean fighter Hwang Kil Kim (11-2, 5) [김황길] in what was the show's main event.
The chief support bout was set to see former world title challenger Takuya Kogawa (30-6-1, 13) [粉川拓也] take on Japanese ranked Light Flyweight Hayato Yamaguchi(15-8-1, 2) [山口隼人] with other supporting bouts including OPBF Light Middleweight champion Akinori Watanabe (39-7-1, 33) [渡部あきのり], Japanese-Brazilian Cristiano Aoqui (14-9-2, 10) [アオキ クリスチャーノ], Yoji Saito (1-1-2, 1) [齊藤陽ニ] and a mouth waterign clash between Ayato Hiromoto (2-0, 1) [廣本彩刀] and 2018 Rookie of the Year winner Yoshiki Minato (8-3, 3) [湊義生].
