Earlier today saw the announcement of the next Tukeshov Boxing promotions show, set to take place at the Tynyshpayev Academy of Transport and Communications in Almaty. The show isn't a stacked card, despite having a total of 13 bouts on it, but will be one of the longest shows for January, and does feature some notable names, as well as a tasty looking main event between two unbeaten hopefuls.
One of the notable under-card fighters is the once touted Dastan Saduuly (3-1, 3) [Дастан Садуулы], who was last seen being battered by Russian novice Vildan Minasov in September. The teenager will be looking to bounce back from that loss as he takes on the win-less Assylbek Tastulek (0-2) [Асылбек Тастулек], who was stopped twice last year by debutants. Saduuly excited the Kazakh press when he turned professional at the age of 16, and after scoring 3 wins he was expected to move forward with his career, until Minasov made it clear he was a boy fighting against a man for the first time.
Thankfully the main event does look a much better bout as the unbeaten pairing of Ray Seitzhanov (5-0, 2) [Рай Сейтжанов] and Nurbol Berdimuratov (2-0) [Нурбол Бердимуратов], who clash in an 8 rounder. On paper this one looks good, but in reality it's a massive step up in class for Berdimuratov, who has only fought debutants and in 4 rounders.
