Earlier today KBM announced that their MVP for the month of December was unbeaten Super Middleweight Keon Woo Kim (5-0, 3) [김건우], who gained the honour on the back of his December 15th win over Moon Han Ji (3-2, 1) [지문한], in the KBF Rookie of the Year final. With that bout ending in brutal fashion after just 42 seconds!
One notable part of this story is that it's a sign that KBM and KBF actually are working together in some form, and that is good for Korean boxing in general!
The talented Kim won't get much time to celebrate the honour given he returns to the ring on Monday, fighting in his first international bout as he takes on China's Yihao Wang (6-4, 2) [王译浩] in an 8 round in Diaobingshan.
Win or lose on Monday Kim will be part of a ceremony on January 18th as part of a notable KBM show in Jeonju.
