Earlier today Kazakh news site posted a number of comments from boxing manager Ziya Aliyev, who is in charge of Ivan Dychko (9-0, 9) [Дычко Иван] and Daniyar Yeleussinov (9-0, 5) [Данияр Маратұлы Елеусінов]. A number of those comments seemed really interesting and could well be a sign that Aliyev is in the market for more top Kazakh fighters.
Among the fighters mentioned was that world amateur champion Bekzat Nurdauletov [Бекзад Нурдаулетов], who Aliyev seemed to suggest was ready for the pro's and seemed to be a very big fan of.
Aliyev is also quoted as stating he would like to see Vassiliy Levit [Левит Василий] and Abilkhan Amankul [Аманкул Абильхан] turning professional.
It's unclear whether the comments are meant to suggest that he's actively pursuing the trio or more talking opening about amateurs in Kazakhstan who he'd like to see turn professional, but it's still interesting that he's mentioned the names and has got great connections in professional boxing.
From the trio mentioned the general feeling seems to be that Levit has left it too late, though he could be fast tracked, the other two however could end up with a lot of people chasing them for their signatures either later this year, or after the postponed Tokyo Olympics.
