Earlier today news broke that WBA and IBF Bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (19-0, 16) [井上 尚弥] has been helping develop a new sauna suit with MTG for the "SIXPAD" brand, who also have a deal with football superstar Christiano Ronaldo.
The company, who have worked with Inoue for a while now, took the fighters advise and help on creating something that was aimed at being more usable as well as being stylish and easy to wear.
Inoue has stated "I am very satisfied with the design because it is very stylish and easy to wear at any time." “I want people to wear this sauna suit when they are jogging, walking, or moving their bodies" (Translated)
Although his next bout is yet to be confirmed, though talk is that he will face Jason Moloney (21-1, 18), it's been clear in recent weeks that he's not sat twiddling his thumbs. Ohashi have posted training footage of him, and sparring footage, and now there's new fitness wear project he's been part of. We have seen some fighters in recent weeks looking less than 100% though in footage released Inoue has looked sharp in sparring and is clearly focusing on staying in good shape for when his next bout is sorted.
MTG released a short video featuring Inoue training in the suit and talking about the product and having a small commercial at the end of it.
