Rising Japanese sensation Naoya Inoue (7-0, 6) may not have gone as far as to announce his next bout but in a recent blog entry he did state that his next fight would be later this year as well talking about his training.
In regards to his training he stated he had again been sparring with OPBF Bantamweight champion Ryosuke Iwasa (18-1, 11) in what is likely to have been a tough sparring session with a naturally bigger man. As well as the sparring with Iwasa he also stated that he had been working the mitts with Ohashi Gym trainer Koni Matsumoto, a man widely regarded as the guy behind the success of Akira Yaegashi.
Whilst we are awaiting to hear about Inoue's next opponent it does seem very clear he has out grown 108lbs and looking at recent training pictures it would look like he's going to be fighting at 115lbs next time out and not 112lbs. It's a shame if he does skip Flyweight but he is looking huge at the moment with monstrous shoulders.
