Last month we reported that the JBC had ordered a Japanese Featherweight title bout between Shota Hayashi (27-5-1, 17) [林 翔太] and Noriyuki Ueno (18-13-5, 5) [上野 則之], who have been ordered to face off for the title recently vacated by Satoshi Hosono.
Earlier this week Hayashi's promoter, Hatanaka, released some details for the show that the bout would take place on.
The bout will be on September 24 and will be taking place the Nagoya International Conference Center, giving Hayashi home advantage of sorts with this being his 22nd bout in the venue.
The bout will be the headline bout of the the next Soul Fighting card, "Soul Fighting 52" which will be shown on CBC TV in the Chukyo area.
From what we understand the date had been booked before the JBC ordered the biout, with Hatanaka looking to use the date and venue to put on the next bout of former WBO Minimumweight world champion Kosei Tanaka (7-0, 4) [田中恒成], who sadly hasn't recovered in time to fight on the day.
As well as revealing the date and details of the card Hatanaka also revealed the poster for the show which features an image of Hayashi, along with various other details.
