Later this week we will see Australian fighter Billy Dib (39-3-0-1, 23) fighting for his career as he takes on destructive WBC Super Featherweight Takashi Miura (28-2-2, 21). Ahead of that bout Dib was in the Teiken gym where he took part in a public training session.
The training session lasted just 10 minutes in total and saw Dib giving away very, very little about how he's looking or how his performance will be this coming Friday.
Unfortunately it was hard to read much from the training session however Dib and his team did give an interview in which they sounded confident with the claim that Dib is in the best condition of his career. That confidence showed through when Dib predicted not only a win but that he was going to stop Miura, a man who has only been stopped once in his career.
It seems as preparation for the bout Dib's team, including trainer Billy Hussein, have been watching Miura's 2011 bout with Takashi Uchiyama. Whilst it's a good starting point to Miura's career he has improved significantly since then and we'd suggest that if that's all their research has consisted off he may well be surprised here.
