We've known for a while that TV Tokyo would be airing two world title fights on May 6th form Japan, now however it's been confirmed that Thai fans will get the chance to see the fights as well courtesy of Channel 3SD.
The fights in question are the WBA Light Flyweight title bout between Thai veteran Kwanthai Sithmorseng (49-3-1, 26) and Japanese world champion Ryoichi Taguchi (21-2-1, 8) and the WBA Super Featherweight "super" title fight between Japanese's explosive Takashi Uchiyama (22-0-1, 18) and unbeaten Thai challenger Jomthong Chuwatana (9-0, 4).
Although the Thai's are the under-dogs in both fights it's still a great coup for Channel 3SD who will have snapped up one of the best looking bouts so far this year in the Uchiyama Vs Jomthong bout.
From what we understand the Thai broadcast will begin at 16:30 local time. Strangely the Japanese broadcast is set to start at 20.59 Tokyo time, which would suggest the Japanese broadcast is on tape delay whilst the Thai's are getting the show live. This however is yet to be confirmed.
