Yesterday we reported that Naoya Inoue (10-0, 8) [井上 尚弥] had done a 12 round spar with 4 Filipino fighters ahead of his world title defense agianst Thai challenger Petchbarngborn Kokietgym (38-7-1, 18) [เพชรบางบอน ก่อเกียรติยิม]. Now it's been revealed that his brother has always wanted his stamina testing in a similar manner..
That's resulted in former OPBF Super Flyweight champion Takuma Inoue (7-0, 2) [井上 拓真] sparring with the same Filipino sparring partners ahead of his world title prelude with Froilan Saludar (23-1-1, 14).
From what we under-stand Inoue was impressed by his own stamina and seems happy that he has no issues in that area, whilst also mentioning that he had stomach pains ahead of his last bout,
Whilst the Filipino sparring partners, including world ranked Super Bantamweight Genesis Servania (27-0, 11), have done double for the Inoue's this week we're not expecting them to have to get in and help out Koki Inoue (4-0, 3) [浩樹井上] ahead of his bout with Indonesian veteran Heri Andriyanto (22-22-2, 10).
