Earlier today saw a public training session being held by the Ohashi team with the training also being a chance for Mr Ohashi, and his fighters, to talk to the media and talk about what the fighters have planned for the rest of the year.
One of the fighters who took part was Takuma Inoue (8-0, 2) [井上 拓真], who we know is set to be in action in December against WBO Bantamweight champion Marlon Tapales (29-2, 12).
The younger of the Inoue brothers looked calm and confident and appeared to be working on building a game plan to over-come Tapales later in the year. That will mean getting in some top level southpaw sparring partners for Inoue with his trainer said to looking at those partners already. It's clear that that bout will be a big step up for the youngster but he sounded very confident and it sounds like he is looking to build from his previous bout, a decision win over Froilan Saludar.
Although dropped, and genuinely tested against Saludar, it seems Takuma is taking the positives from the bout and looked at the experience and challenges of the bout and how over-coming challenges is a good thing.
