As you're probably all aware there has been a huge tragedy in Nepal in the last few weeks with one of the worst earthquakes in history. The horror and damage of the earthquake has cost thousands or lives, wiped out communities and essentially left the country in tatters.
Thankfully there has been a lot of fund raising and recently we've seen two Japanese world champions join the campaign with Takashi Uchiyama and Ryoichi Taguchi putting their faces behind the fund raising.
The donations will paid to the Nepal government through the Japanese Red Cross.
Of course earthquakes are close to the hearts of both men who were in Japan during the Great East Japan Earthquake. They made it clear this mornign that they wanted to thank various countries for the help they following that tragredy and would live to see countries giving the same sort of help to Nepal in the hope allow the people rebuild their lives.
It's clear that that rebuilding process will take a while but hopefully with enough help the survivors will manage to have a normal life sooner, rather than later.
