Earlier today saw the first face off between Thai teenager Stamp Kiatniwat (13-0, 6) and Dominican puncher Gregorio Lebron (13-2, 11) ahead of their WBA "interim" Flyweight title fight, which is set for Wednesday.
At the stand off both fighters looked confident, with Lebron holding a notable, but slight, height advantage.
Interestingly the Dominican's route to Thailand hasn't been a great one with reports suggesting it took him 40 hours to fly from home to Thailand after being held in Europe for a length of time, unsettling his preparations for the bout.
The bout's weigh in will take place tomorrow, as the men meet again, then on Wednesday they will face with their gloves on in a bout to be screened on Channel 3 in Thailand.
Although the winner will become the WBA "interim" champion neither man would be expected to match up with Kazuto Ioka, or Juan Francisco Estrada, any time soon.
