Rikki Naito and Kenichi Ogawa make weight for Japanese Super Featherweight title bout
Tomorrow fans in Tokyo get the chance to see an enthralling show, headlines by two Super Featherweight title bouts.
One of those bouts is a Japanese title bout which will see unbeaten champion Rikki Naito (13-0, 5) defending his belt against the heavy handed Kenichi Ogawa (16-1, 14).
Today saw both men weigh in for the bout, with both men making the limit and looking in fantastic condition for a bout that may well be one of the best domestic title bouts of the year.
Naito, who will be seeking his 4th defense of the title, has prepared for the bout by sparring with WBA world champion Takashi Uchiyama and seems to feel that that sparring will help him cope with Ogawa's power and physical strength. Ogawa on the other hand is riding an 8 fight stoppage run coming in to this and from quotes given to the media he expects his power will see off Naito here.
