Just a few moments ago we received an image of the poster for the upcoming WBC Bantamweight title fight between the unbeaten Shinsuke Yamanaka (21-0-2, 16) and Thai challenger Suriyan Sor Rungvisai (37-5-1, 16). On the poster Yamanaka is posing with his WBC world title whilst Suriyan is wearing the colours associated with the M-150 energy drink in Thailand
The poster appears to be a pretty straight forward one featuring the two men involved in the main event as well as Japanese fighter Takahiro Ao (26-3-1, 12), who will be battling against Mexican Juan Carlos Salgado (26-3-1, 12), himself a former world champion. Ao, like Yamanaka, is posing with a WBC title though unlike Suriyan it does seem like Salgado is being given no space for his image
We'll admit the image we've been sent isn't the greatest and it does appear to miss off parts of the poster, especially on the right hand side, but it's the first look we've managed to have of the promotional poster and from what we can see we like it. It's strong, bold and clear. There no pretense to the poster but instead just hard hitting and clear images of the 3 most notable fighters on the show.
We're hoping to get a better look at the poster shortly, hopefully a full width view, though for now we're happy to say we like it. It's not the best we've seen this year, that still goes to Ring of Diamonds, but it's certainly not bad.
