Earlier today we reported that Fuji TV, and it's affiliates, will be airing the upcoming world title fights between WBO Super Flyweight champion Naoya Inoue (9-0, 8) [井上 尚弥] and mandatory challenger David Carmona (20-2-5, 8) and the IBF Light Flyweight title bout between champion Akira Yaegashi (23-5, 12) [八重樫 東] and the exciting Martin Tecuapetla (13-6, 10).
For fans interested in the under-card there is some good-news/bad-news.
The bouts featuring Takuma Inoue (6-0, 1) [井上 拓真], Koki Inoue (2-0, 2) [浩樹井上] and Ryo Matsumoto (17-0, 15) [松本 亮] will not be shown live, and they will not be shown on terrestrial TV.
That's the bad news.
The good news however is that they will be aired, across Japan, on BS Fuji on May 14th, with the channel putting some time aside to show footage from their bouts. Sadly the time slot will only be 55 minutes meaning it's very unlikely that all 3 bouts will air in their entirety.
For those unaware BS Fuji is a paid channel and streams for it outside of Japan are very rare and inconsistent meaning many fans will miss out on the bouts. Hopefully though Fuji will see the reason to invest in the talented and unbeaten trio who could all go on to win world titles in the near future.
