Yesterday we reported that Japanese youngster Naoya Inoue (7-0, 6) was available at 1/12 with Paddy Power to win his upcoming bout against Omar Andres Narvaez (43-1-2, 23), who was an 11/2 under-dog. At the time we felt those odds were far too stingy for anyone to bother with and appears that people have thought the same. Thankfully over-night we have seen a second company offering odds on the bout, Bet365. They have picked slightly more realistic odds with Inoue at 1/8, still short odds in ours but more reflective of the fight at hand.
Notably they also have slightly better odds on Inoue by stoppage, pricing it at 7/4 rather than 6/4, however they have short odds on Inoue by decision which they have at 8/11 whilst Paddy Power have it at 5/6. The more interesting difference between the two bookies is where they have set the over/under with Paddy Power having theirs set at 10.5 rounds whilst Bet365 have gone for 8.5 rounds, though of course the odds here can't be compared too easily.
Another notable change is that you can now get 12/1 on both fighters being knocked down, with Paddy Power.
As we write this we need to just note these markets are set to close at 8AM UK time, on bet365, so you'll need to be an early bird here if you see value on their site.
