This coming Tuesday sees Japanese fans getting a treat as the popular Shinsuke Yamanaka (23-0-2, 17) defends his title against former WBA champion Anselmo Moreno (35-3-1, 12). The bout is one of the most anticipated bouts in Japan this year and is, on paper, one of the toughest bouts either fighter has been in.
Today, ahead of that bout, the two men took part in their physical examination.
Of course both men passed the physical though it did give us a chance to get men measured up. It was at the physical that we discovered Moreno's reach advantage is just 1.5cm, less than 1". Likewise Yamanaka has the slight, 2.5cm, 1", advantage in height.
Both men appeared confident through out the medical and it seems clear that neither is intimidated by the big fight ahead of them and in fact both seem like they can't wait for the up coming fight.
