Earlier today in Zama fight fans saw former amateur stand out Koki Inoue (5-0, 4) [浩樹井上], the cousin of world champion Naoya Inoue and the world ranked Takuma Inoue, score an impressively quick stoppage win over Indonesian veteran Heri Andriyanto (22-23-2, 10).
The Japanese fighter started the bout fast but controlled, finding the distance and timing for his southpaw jab. Soon after finding his range he began to mix in straight right hands and dig to the body. In round 2 Inoue stepped up the pace and started to land some devastating combinations dropping the Indonesian with one such combination.
To Andriyanto's credit he got to his feet but the referee knew that the visitor wasn't fit to continue so the decision to stop the bout with Andriyanto on his feet was made, saving the visitor from any further harm.
Also on the under-card there was a decision win for unbeaten Korean Moo Hyun Kim (3-0), who over-came George Tachibana (1-2) with a majority decision and an upset win for Toshiro Tarumi (5-2-3, 3) [垂水 稔朗], who shut out Quaye Peter (9-7-2, 5) [クウエ・ピーター].
