On Friday evening in the US fight fans had the chance to see the official weigh in for tomorrow's Middleweight unification bout between Kazakh banger Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30) and Canadian puncher David Lemieux (34-2, 31).
The weigh in saw both men making weight for the bout.
On the scales Golovkin, the WBA "super" and WBC "interim" champion, was 159½lbs, comfortably making the weight and looking both confident and comfortable. On the other hand a slightly drained looking Lemieux was 159¾lbs, as he attempts to make the first defence of IBF title.
The two men will be weighed again tomorrow morning due to the IBF rules and will need come in no more than 10lbs heavier that they were on Friday evening.
Golovkin and Lemieux get it on in an explosive unification!
