Tomorrow fight fans at the Korakuen Hall will get the chance to see former world title challenger Daiki Kaneko (25-5-3, 17) [金子 大樹] battle against veteran professional Tsuyoshi Tojo (13-14-5, 2) [東上剛司].
Today the two men took part in their wiegh in and both fighters came in under the agreed limit.
The powerfully built Kaneko came in just under 131lbs and looked in sensational shape, as he always does. Not only is he in good shape but he was also full of confidence and he has set his sights on winning titles and challenging for a world title again, the second time following a loss to Takashi Uchiyama.
Tojo also made weight and seemedto be aware that another loss could be the end of his long, 15 year, career. Saying that however he seemed to feel like his boxing was getting better, despite his age getting older, and he'll look to make the most of his skills and experience as he takes on Kaneko.
